standing with you - every step of the way
The New Mexico Fraternal Order of Police Labor Committee is here to protect and support our members in all employment-related matters. We provide trusted representation, guidance, and advocacy for law enforcement professionals across the state, ensuring that your rights and wellbeing are always a priority.
Our mission is to empower officers through unity, professionalism, and support — from collective bargaining and contract negotiations to grievance hearings and legal representation. Whether you’re facing a workplace issue or seeking to strengthen your lodge’s labor foundation, the NMFOP Labor Committee is your partner in every step of the process.
What We Do
We offer professional assistance in:
Forming and representing collective bargaining units
Negotiating and improving wages, hours, and working conditions
Mediation and arbitration services
Legal and non-legal representation for duty-related incidents
Representation at disciplinary hearings involving termination, suspension, or demotion
Support and coordination following officer-involved shootings or critical incidents
Legal representation is provided through qualified attorneys experienced in police and labor law, under the direction of the State Labor Director and the State Lodge President.
