The New Mexico Fraternal Order of Police State Conference is the premier annual gathering of law enforcement professionals, lodge leadership, and members from across the state. This event serves as a cornerstone for collaboration, leadership development, and advancing the mission of the FOP throughout New Mexico.

The 72nd Annual State Conference will be held June 11–13, 2026, in Ruidoso, at the MCM Elegante Lodge & Resort.

This year’s conference is proudly co-hosted by Old Lincoln Lodge #25 and San Juan Lodge #4, continuing a strong tradition of leadership and partnership among New Mexico lodges.

Purpose of the conference

The State Conference provides a unified platform for members to:

  • Conduct official business of the New Mexico FOP

  • Strengthen communication between lodges statewide

  • Develop leadership and administrative skills

  • Share knowledge, experiences, and best practices

  • Promote unity, advocacy, and professional excellence

For over 70 years, this conference has played a vital role in shaping the direction of the organization and supporting those who serve their communities.

training & leadership development

To support continued growth within the organization, the conference will offer:

  • FREE Leadership Training on Thursday, June 11, 2026

  • Instruction provided by National FOP Trainers

  • Focus areas include:

    • Secretary responsibilities

    • Treasurer responsibilities

    • Lodge administration and operations

Limited funding may be available to assist delegates with lodging costs associated with attending training, subject to approval and availability.
